Kay Luv

I am a proud Laotian Westie mum with the heart of a Kiwi and shaped by a Pacific Island, Asian, and European upbringing who made sure I was raised to be caring. I have spent my life defending and standing up for people’s injustices.

After a midlife epiphany, I realised I could do more by representing our voices on Council. I’m standing for Waitakere Ward Councillor to help build a safer, more affordable, and inclusive Auckland for our children.

With over 20 years in Immigration across NZ, India, Taiwan, and Thailand, I’ve led in policy, business, and governance—advising MBIE, Immigration Officers, Lawyers, Government Officials, and Industry Leaders. I’ve solved complex cases, represented NZ in international criminal fraud investigations, and run my own consultancy, Luv Immigration. I also serve on NZ tennis boards and hold qualifications in Politics, Business, and Education.

I stand for affordable living through sensible Council spending and an evidence-based approach to decision making, better transport and health services through funding for frontline services and streamline systems. Increase police presence, bring in tougher laws and improve response times to make our communities safer.

I am that protector who will stand in your corner.
