Why I’m standing

Originally from Taiwan, I want to give back to the community I have lived in for the last 25 years by serving on council. We need fresh, independent voices at the table who understand the everyday challenges Wellingtonians face. The city needs a reset and focus on fixing what is broken, maintain what matters and invest wisely in our future.

About me

With 15 years running my own businesses and over a decade serving boards and not-for-profits, I bring practical business experience and governance expertise. I take an analytical, solution-focused approach, ask the hard questions, and deliver smart, long-term decisions with clarity, accountability and practicality. I have the tenacity and drive to affect real change by being open and approachable. I will be a breath of fresh air and a strong, local voice for you.

My priorities

Focus spending on infrastructure and core services, eliminating costly extras to make Wellington affordable.

Foster a supportive environment for businesses to thrive and in turn make Wellington work again.

Create a balanced transport network that works for everyone with accessibility and mobility for all.
