Last election, I made commitments I intended to deliver. I’ve made progress on every commitment.
I’m not here to fluff around, I’m here to get results.
With 3000+ Halswell homes to come, we must utilise development contributions from new builds wisely to get infrastructure built correctly the first time to avoid ratepayers having to pick up the bill later.
I’ve overhauled the way we deliver new subdivision infrastructure to help enable this. There are many practical ways to help reduce the rating burden, and I’m doing them.
Halswell should be accessible for everyone, regardless of age or physical ability, and people should feel safe to live and work here. I’m proud to have prioritised basic infrastructure and helped get our own community patrol car on the road.
I grew up here, will grow old here and will continue to work hard to make Halswell a great place to live.
