Kia ora! Thank you for your support and the opportunity to serve on the Community Board. Last term, I worked hard to be your eyes and ears, advocating for local needs and offering expert advice on matters affecting you.

I’m a researcher and lecturer at Lincoln University with leading projects like Project Regenerative Tourism. I put people at the heart of decisions, mindful of their impacts on you, your whānau, and future generations.

I live in Goughs Bay, where I manage a small farm and conservation blocks raising a young family. I also serve as Chief Fire Officer for the Banks Peninsula Volunteer Fire Brigade and facilitated the development of the Akaroa/Ōnuku Emergency Response Plan.

Originally from Gilgit-Baltistan in the Himalayas (K2), I bring my Indigenous heritage and offer my knowledge in gratitude to New Zealand, which has given me an identity and right to vote.
