For over a decade, I’ve been deeply involved in Christchurch Central—leading community gardens, delivering major public events, and advocating for projects that make our city more resilient and connected. From regenerating the former red zone to establishing the Riverlution Eco Hub and Ōtākaro Orchard, I’ve worked alongside residents, businesses, and council to turn ideas into tangible outcomes.
My approach blends governance expertise with grassroots experience. I’ve chaired and served on boards including the Avon-Ōtākaro Network and the Food Resilience Network, co-developing strategic plans and overseeing large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects. On the ground, I’m hands-on—facilitating workshops, building living roofs, and running composting schemes that empower communities to take practical action.
With a Master’s in Business Administration and the experience of running a successful IT company, I understand balance sheets, strategic investment, and how to get the most value from every dollar spent.
I’m running as an independent because local government should serve people, not political agendas. I will work with anyone—regardless of faction—when it’s in the best interest of our ward and our city.
My priorities are transparent leadership, environmental regeneration, and practical solutions to our city’s challenges. I believe in empowering communities to create the change they want to see, ensuring every decision we make today builds a stronger Christchurch for tomorrow.
This is my home, and I’m committed to making it thrive—for all of us.
