Jamie Small
Hi, I’m Jamie Small. I’m running for Community Board in Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula, in the Mt Herbert subdivision.
I live in (and love) Cass Bay. I am a father, a small business owner, and a passionate environmentalist.
I want to see our beautiful harbour and peninsula continue to grow into a prosperous business community that is also rich with birdlife and native trees. I want our water to always be safe for our tamariki to swim in.
As a former journalist I am very well versed in studying Council papers, turning up, discussing, and asking hard questions.
I love that this is a community where I know my neighbours and so many others, and want to do what I can to support the people of Whakaraupō Lyttelton Harbour and Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula.
