I am a proud local, John has served our community through business, governance, and grassroots leadership. With Pacific roots and strong connections across many cultures, John understands the challenges and opportunities faced by Upper Harbour’s diverse communities.

Why John?

John believes our everyone & our ethnic communities are the strength of Upper Harbour. As your Local Board representative, he will advocate for smarter transport, better facilities, and stronger community investment — while ensuring every voice is heard, from families and seniors to youth and cultural groups. Together, we can build thriving, safe, and welcoming neighbourhoods for all.

Key Priorities

Local Voice – representing all our community as a Local is important to me, and having someone that lives, works, plays and helps in our community is priority for the local board.

Accountable Council – working alongside Governing Council & our CCO’s to ensure services are meeting the needs and pace of our growing communities and not in a conference room predetermined.

Investment & Growth – investing in our parks, greenspaces, communities hub, youth programs, community organizations, smarter transport links, and backing local businesses
