Julia Parfitt

I’m a lifelong Bays resident, Justice of the Peace, former Deputy Mayor, and past Chairperson of the Local Board. Former teacher and Board of Trustees member at Northcross Intermediate

I know our area well and bring a track record of working constructively across Council to deliver results for our community.

I’ve successfully advocated for critical infrastructure rebuilds after storm events, supported environmental initiatives like pest-free projects and our Green Streams programme, and helped develop safety plans for our town centres. I have successfully advocated for funding for the Browns Bay pump station. I’ve also backed funding for the Bushglen Reserve track upgrade, playground renewals, Long Bay Youth Park, and a new dog park in Browns Bay.

I’ll keep championing projects like better public transport, a new harbour crossing, and expanding restoration programmes.
