Kevin Gilbert
I have spent my first term immersing myself in the responsibilities of a dedicated councillor, actively engaging with the community. My 20 years of business experience have been instrumental in guiding my decisions, alongside my commitment to financial, social, and environmental sustainability.
I have served as the Deputy Chair of the Strategy, Planning and Engagement Committee, chaired various hearings, served as a Resource Management Commissioner, and have been an active member of the Saddle Hill Community, Otago Settlers Association, and Toitū Settlers Museum Boards.
My community involvement extends beyond my official duties – as part of the organising committee for Dunedin’s local Supper Club charity; organising the food and beverage for the Community Christmas Dinner; and founding the Food Equity and Education Dunedin charity.
I seek your support to continue the progress we have made and to help drive Dunedin towards a vibrant future that encompasses financial, social, and environmental sustainability.
