Sarah Brunton

Independent candidates

My principal place of residence is in the Hornby Ward of the Waipuna Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Board area.

Hornby deserves sensible, strong, independent and community focused leadership.

You voted for me last time, and I’m asking for your support again.

You’ve told me what matters most: getting the basics right, spending rates wisely, and making sure local voices are heard.

Families here work hard and expect practical decisions from Council, such as fixing roads, maintaining parks and supporting the services people rely on every day.

I’ve worked alongside local groups like the Hornby Community Centre Trust Board, which shows the power of community led support. With the right backing, these groups help keep Hornby thriving.

Growth is coming fast, but it needs to be managed in a way that protects what makes our community special – our connections, our values and our way of life.

This election, your vote can help keep the focus on what really matters.

Let’s keep Hornby moving forward together.
